I began this campaign years ago with no clear idea of how long it would last or what shape it would take. Be Captivating was born from a simple conviction: to use my privilege, freedom, and resources to stand with those who are vulnerable and exploited. Along the way, it has been a privilege to partner with Captivating International and support the powerful work they are doing.Over the years my personal campaign has evolved, but the mission has never wavered. This year, I am especially grateful that my church community has launched Together for Her, a campaign I am proud to stand alongside. Together, we remain deeply committed to ending human trafficking through prevention, interception, and survivor care.
Human trafficking is one of the fastest-growing crimes in the world, with an estimated 50 million people trapped in modern slavery today—including 12 million children. The scale of this crisis is overwhelming, but we are committed to doing something about it.
Making a Tangible Difference
Through this partnership, our community is helping raise both funds and awareness to protect the vulnerable and support survivors. Every initiative matters:
AU $130 can intercept a girl at a border before she is trafficked.
Fundraisers like teas, community events, and creative campaigns are already helping generate life-changing support.
Awareness efforts—such as the annual Stop Trafficking 5K—are bringing people together to learn, act, and advocate for freedom.
Together for Her’s work doesn’t stop at prevention. They provide holistic care for those rescued—medical support, education, and counseling—so survivors can rebuild their lives with hope and strength.
